Adventure awaits: Discover exciting activities in nature

Through the back door you can walk directly across the fields and into the forest. If you want to go further afield, the lakes of the Salzkammergut invite you in summer - Attersee, Traunsee, Wolfgangsee or Mondsee can be reached within 1 hour. In winter, various ski areas for alpine skiing, touring skiing or cross-country skiing can be reached within 1 hour. For more leisurely guests, there are not only cultural highlights in the city triangle Linz - Wels - Steyr, but also some culinary highlights. We are happy to pass on our tips.

Walks

Starting from Chalet Kremstalblick, you can enjoy both short and long walks – we’re happy to share tips for detailed routes.

Cycling

Various nearby destinations, such as the Schacherteiche ponds, invite you to enjoy shorter or longer bike tours starting from Chalet Kremstalblick.

Hiking

Nearby is e.g. The Limestone Alps National Park The national park includes the Sengsengebirge and the Reichraminger Hintergebirge. The latter is one of the largest closed forest areas in Austria, whose mountain landscape is characterised by water, rocks and alpine pastures – 61 min. (55 km)

Skiing

For day trips, for example, the Hinterstoder ski area is very easy to reach. With 14 modern ski lifts, you can really enjoy the 40 sporty kilometres of slopes with the best snow quality. For an extra dose of action, skiing highlights such as the adventure slopes and ski circuits – 50 min. (68 km)

Golf

Nearby is the Kremstal Golf Resort with one of the most varied 27-hole golf courses in Austria. In addition, there are extensive practice facilities and the modern Stöckl golf school, which will make playing golf an absolute pleasure - 8 min. (6 km)

Lido Neuhofen an der Krems

The outdoor pool is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from 11 May to the beginning of September, weather permitting – 6 min. (3,3 km)

City Linz

Opportunities to visit the Ars Electronica Center, Linz Cathedral in the city center or the Pöstlingberg, Linz's local mountain. This can be reached in the most stylish way with the Pöstlingbergbahn – 22 min. (23 km)

City Steyr

The more than 1000-year-old city of Steyr, located at the picturesque confluence of the Enns and Steyr rivers, is a true architectural jewel with a beautiful city center – 24 min. (23 km)

City Wels

Wels gained its current economic importance as a trade fair and industrial city as well as a transport hub. In addition, a public zoo – 20 min. (19,5 km)

Seminars

The chalet is ideal for creative company seminars, which can also be rented for daily packages. A second large table is available for this purpose, so that there is enough space for a total of 16 people. Send us an inquiry and we will discuss your request individually.
